By accessing and using Aurora Interaction Studio services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and applicable laws of Ontario, Canada.
We provide digital interaction design, interface research, prototyping services, and creative technology consultation for clients and research partners.
Users must not misuse our services, engage in illegal activities, infringe intellectual property rights, or attempt to disrupt our systems or operations.
We retain ownership of our methodologies, tools, and original creations. Client work products are governed by separate project agreements defining ownership and usage rights.
Specific project terms, deliverables, timelines, and compensation are detailed in separate project agreements that supplement these general terms.
Payment terms are specified in project agreements. Generally, invoices are due within 30 days. Late payments may incur interest charges as permitted by law.
Our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages arising from service use.
Services are provided "as is" without warranties. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for particular purposes.
Either party may terminate services with appropriate notice as specified in project agreements. Termination does not affect accrued rights and obligations.
These terms are governed by Ontario law and federal Canadian law. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Ontario courts.

Clients may request refunds within 14 days of project commencement or payment, provided no substantial work has been delivered or project milestones completed.
Refunds are available for cancelled projects, unsatisfactory initial deliverables, or mutual agreement to discontinue services before significant progress.
For projects in progress, partial refunds may be available based on completed work, time invested, and deliverables provided. Calculation considers project scope and completion percentage.
Completed research, delivered prototypes, finalized designs, and consultation time are generally non-refundable once accepted by the client.
Digital deliverables, code repositories, design files, and research reports are non-refundable once downloaded or accessed by the client.
Third-party software licenses, tools, or services purchased for specific projects are non-refundable and remain the client's responsibility.
Refund requests must be submitted in writing with justification. We respond within 5 business days and process approved refunds within 10 business days.
Refunds are processed using the original payment method when possible. Alternative arrangements may be made for expired or unavailable payment methods.
Refund disputes are resolved through good-faith negotiation. Unresolved disputes may be subject to mediation or arbitration as specified in project agreements.
This refund policy may be updated periodically. Changes apply to new projects and agreements entered after the effective date of modifications.
